How do I connect or disconnect WhatsApp?

You can connect WhatsApp from Korin’s WhatsApp or Settings area.

Follow the verification steps to confirm that the phone number belongs to you.

Once connected, WhatsApp may be used to:

• Ask Korin financial questions • Receive eligible proactive alerts • Receive links back to Korin • Receive support-case status notifications when enabled

To disconnect WhatsApp, open the same settings area and select Disconnect.

Disconnecting WhatsApp stops Korin messages from being sent to that number. It does not delete your Korin account or bank connections.

For security and privacy, Korin should automatically disconnect WhatsApp when:

• The Korin account is deleted • The last connected bank is removed, where this is part of the approved product behaviour • The phone number is replaced or verification is revoked

If WhatsApp still appears connected after one of these actions, report it immediately.
