Transactions and balances
Why do I see pending or duplicate transactions?
Pending transactions may later be replaced by completed transactions.

Some banks first send a transaction as pending and later replace it with a completed transaction.
During that process, the pending and completed versions may temporarily look like two separate transactions.
Korin attempts to recognize and reconcile pending and completed transactions, but this can be difficult when the bank changes:
• The transaction identifier • The merchant name • The transaction date • The final amount • The transaction description
A common example is a restaurant, hotel, fuel station or online order where the final amount changes after authorization.
Do not delete or recategorize both transactions until the bank has completed processing.
If both versions remain after the transaction has fully settled, report the duplicate and identify both transactions.
