How do I connect a bank?
Connect an eligible everyday banking account securely through Akahu.
Last updated 2026-08-02
To connect a bank, open Korin and select Connect bank.
Korin will take you to Akahu, our bank-connection provider. Select your bank, follow the bank’s authentication steps and choose the accounts you want to share with Korin.
For the best Korin experience, connect the accounts you use for everyday money management, such as:
• Transaction or everyday accounts • Chequing accounts • Savings accounts • Credit cards
Korin currently focuses on everyday personal finances. Investment, brokerage and certain specialised account types may be detected but are not yet fully supported.
Korin receives read-only access to the account information you approve. Korin cannot transfer money, make payments or change anything in your bank account.
After the connection is complete, it may take a short time for balances and transactions to finish syncing.
