Using Korin
How do budgets work?
Set a limit for a category and Korin tracks it and tells you if you're heading over.
Last updated 2026-10-11
A budget is a spending limit for a category, such as Eating out or Groceries, over a period like a week or a month.
Open Budgets to create one. Korin suggests budgets based on what you usually spend, or you can choose your own amount.
Each budget shows how much you've used and how much of the period has passed, so you can see whether you're on track. If you're heading over, Korin adds an alert to Ahead (and WhatsApp, if it's connected).
Budgets count the transactions in that category, so if a payment is in the wrong category, change it and the budget updates.
